A few of the Major Contracts awarded during 2008
Successful inspection Contract awarded to Flow Control was for a number of Motorised and gear operated DN2400 & DN1300 butterfly valves for the Doha Qatar waste treatment facilities project. Flow Control's Kate Hodson is shown standing next to one of the giant sized DN2400 (96") class ANSI 150 CS Double flanged butterfly valves. Valve shown is supplied with a Rotork type IQ Electric Actuator was taken after successful witnessed testing and acceptance by client at the manufacturers' Value Valves in Taiwan. The successful completion of this contract for the largest Diameter sized valves ever supplied by Flow Control is a glowing compliment to the dedicated staff at Flow Control and our suppliers.Vopak Shanghai Ammonia Storage Facilities Project - Supply of Gate, Globe, Check & Top entry Ball Valves.
Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Complex, 30,000 M3 Propylene Tank Project - Ball, Gate & Double flanged Triple offset Butterfly valves for ammonia service. Photos shown during witness inspection at Hobbs Valve in South Wales, manufacturers of the 12" specially designed triple offset metal seated butterfly valves.

Murco Milford Haven Project - BAC Type TSB trunnion mounted Ball valves to API6D. 6" & 10" Class 600#.
BHIT Pakistan project for Costain Construction - In excess of 600 pcs mainly ball valves Class 600# in CS & SS materials, both manual and actuated sold successfully from stock for this quick turnaround project
Bantrel Petro-Canada Project - Approx 100 valves up to 36" size Butterfly, Gate and check valves in manual and Rotork IQ operated. Also a large quantity of 14" "Y" Filters manufactured by GFSA in the UK.
Incineration project in Chambery France - 63 pcs of Gate, Globe, Check valves as well as filters.
Shell Houdini Project - Cryogenic BAC Ball valves and OMB Gate and globe valves fully tested to Shell Low temp spec 77/306

This very large contract is for the supply of 750 pcs of Ball, Gate, Globe & Check valves. Some fitted with Smith Flow Control interlocks for Phase II of Rasgas Qatar Ras Laffan project is due for delivery from July 2007 with completion early 2008.Sizes up to 20" in Class ratings 150/300 & 800#. Large proportions of valves are for low temp applications and will be tested down to -46 Deg C at a UK independent test house. March 2006 Fresh from the success of the Kharg Island contract, Flow Control was awarded a larger contract by Weir LGE Systems to supply, floating & trunnion mounted Ball, Gate, Globe & Check Valves for the NIOC South Pars LPG Project. This very large contract is to supply over 600 valves up to 36" dia manufactured by BAC, Calobri, KVC, Anson Flow & Value Valves. Delivery was successfully achieved during 2006February 2006 - Contract awarded.
February 2006 Flow Control was awarded a major valve contract by Weir LGE Systems to supply Ball, Gate, Globe and Check valves for the Kharg Island LPG project. This involved over 650 pcs of manual and actuated valves manufactured by BAC, Calobri & KVC. Successfully delivered during 2006.February 2006 - Contract awarded.

Flow Control have been awarded a contract to supply low temp gate valves for Qatar petroleum. Sizes from 6” to 24” class rating 150 in both low temp carbon and stainless materials. Contract call for valves to be low temp tested to MESC spec. 77/306.
Photos are of a 24” & 14” valves during low temp testing.
